What is BlueStep?
BlueStep provides home loans to borrowers that may find it difficult to receive a home loan from standard Swedish mortgage lenders. We are the alternative choice for home loans in Sweden. BlueStep is a Swedish mortgage institute based in Stockholm. The company has been operating since 2005 and we accept more borrowers than any other mortgage lender in Sweden. BlueStep is now an important part of the long-term development of the Swedish mortgage market because with BlueStep more borrowers can achieve home finance solutions. BlueStep is developing the mortgage market in Sweden.

BlueStep works through our office in Stockholm. We operate mainly through telephone and internet. Customers are also welcome to make an appoint to visit our mortgage professionals in our office.
Who is behind BlueStep?
Bluestep was launched in April 2005 and was backed by Barclays Bank PLC, Kensington Group PLC and Liberty Hampshire LLC. In Feburary 2008 a majority stake in the business was acquired by Englefield Capital LLP.
Regulation and Administration?
Regulation: BlueStep is registered with the Swedish FSA.
Mortgage administration: BlueStep mortgages are administered on behalf of BlueStep by Cerdo Bankpartner AB.
